STORY

In the heart of London, a stately building is reduced to rubble by a massive explosion—without causing any damage to the surrounding houses. For fire investigator STELLA WEST, it quickly becomes clear: this was no ordinary attack. At the crime scene, she finds an inconspicuous component that reminds her of four other cases. STELLA WEST is convinced that behind a series of perfectly orchestrated explosions lies not a terrorist network, but a single perpetrator—highly intelligent, precise, and always one step ahead of his time.

Her investigations lead her to a long-forgotten case in Berlin. Back then, a villa was destroyed in a similar manner. The prime suspect was ADRIAN VOSS. But nothing could be proven against him. Since then, he seems to have vanished without a trace. Only a few people close to him know that he lives in Thailand. As further explosions pile up in European cities, a race against time begins. Interpol is searching for a phantom whose true identity and motives remain shrouded in mystery.

It takes a while to realize why ADRIAN VOSS is called
“THE ARCHITECT” — and that there is far more behind it all than blind destruction. But then ADRIAN VOSS makes a crucial mistake. Suddenly, he is being hunted not only by international investigative authorities but also by the people he used to work for.

THE ARCHITECT is an international thriller about control, manipulation, and a man who can shake entire cities to their core without ever being seen — leading up to an extraordinary climax.
